Valorant to enter closed beta phase next week

The game will offer Twitch linking.

Creator of one of the biggest online games in the world, Riot Games, is releasing a new FPS. The new Riot Games FPS game, Valorant, will enter a closed beta phase starting with next week. The developers announced that the closed beta will begin on April 7.

Previously known as “Project A”, the game will feature fast-paced combat which is highly skill-based. If you are a skilled player, the game will reward your actions instead of protecting the weak. Because of this, Riot announced that they will have a big focus on e-sports and competitive play.

If you want to participate in the closed beta but by no means get a key for yourself, there is a solution. Riot Games announced that they will be handing out closed beta invitations on Twitch. If you link your Twitch and Riot Games accounts, participating in certain live streams can provide you with an invitation.

“When closed beta activates in your region (EU and NA for now), watch specific Valorant streams highlighted on Twitch for the opportunity to be entitled to Closed Beta access,” announced developer Riot Games.
