Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will include two renditions of the main character, Eivor. Accordingly, players will be able to pick a male or female version of them. Yet, the selection won’t be set in stone. Instead, the players can transition between the versions whenever they want.
The game is going to take place in East Anglia and will feature lots of open-world features. Therefore, the reaction of this world will be varying towards the versions of Eivor. Ubisoft might have thought, forcing players to do the same stuff all over again would be cumbersome. Consequently, that may be why Valhalla is to offer such a transition.
According to Kotaku’s report, this transition is as easy as hitting the buttons on the D-Pad. Once in the Animus menu, the game will allow Eivor’s voice and animations to change instantaneously. Furthermore, as the game has excluded the level-up system, there won’t be a loss in the gameplay progress. Finally, the skill tree also will be preserved, regardless of when this change takes place.
Valhalla is to bring an interesting refresh to the character selection. In order to experience its open world, we also have presented a hands-on experience on our website. In our journey, we didn’t experience a drastic change that Eivor’s gender can make. However, more is likely in store for this side of the game to unfold.
