Ubisoft just unveiled Assassin’s Creed Valhalla with a trailer

Are you ready to be a Viking raider?

The latest entry to the Assassin’s Creed franchise is here. Our journey in Ancient Egypt now continues the northern parts of the world, telling the story of the Vikings. Ubisoft just unveiled Assassin’s Creed Valhalla with the first trailer of the game, giving out details.

The game will create an immersive “ultimate Viking fantasy” for the players. Fear not, the lore is connected to the Assassin’s Creed universe in every way you can think of. Moreover, you will find out that the story of Layla still continues. If you would like to find out more,  you can find the official reveal trailer of the game above.

In the game, you will be able to create your own Viking settlement. This settlement will also be your character’s hub, developing the game’s narrative around it. We must say that this reminded us of Red Dead Redemption 2 and the camp system, which was a great implementation. A hub-settlement would fit great into the Assassin’s Creed universe.

Furthermore, the game will present the players with deep choices which will affect the game they play. For example, you will be able to pick who’s the side you will be on which will determine your alliances. Moreover, romance will also play some role in the game.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla release date and platforms

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will release for Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Stadia platforms. The PC release of the game will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store and Uplay. In addition to these, the game will also available on the Uplay + subscription plan. So, if you have an Uplay + subscription, you do not need to buy the game separately.

The first gameplay of the game will be shown in an Inside Xbox episode on May 7. So, in a week, we will update you with the gameplay videos of the game.
