Summer Game Fest: First Details Announced

Summer Game Fest: First Details Announced

Confirmed participants include PlayStation, Electronic Arts, Steam, Xbox and many more.

The wait following the cancellation of E3 back in March is over as Geoff Keighley has announced the Summer Game Fest.

Rather than simply a replacement for E3, which lasts a few days, the online fest is going to be a 4-month long variety of events. Taking place from May through August, the events will include trailers, demos, launches, and everything else game related. So far, the confirmed part-takers include 2K, Activision, Bandai Namco, Bethesda, Blizzard, Bungie, CD Projekt Red, Digital Extremes, Electronic Arts, PlayStation, Private Division, Riot Games, Square Enix, Steam, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and Xbox.

The schedule for the Summer Game Fest will be available soon, according to Keighley, and other details will also be revealed during the upcoming Inside Xbox episode. Until then, you can get answers to your questions on the Reddit AMA he is currently hosting.
