As Ubisoft updates Rainbow Six Siege with new operations every season, we get to see new operators. This time, we will see Sam “Zero” Fisher from the Splinter Cell join the Rainbow Six. The Operation Shadow Legacy will go live on test servers on the 17th of August.
The new operation will also bring the reworked “Chalet” map and key gameplay changes. In their news update, Ubisoft claims that the gameplay changes will be so drastic that they’ll change how you play the game. These changes include “Ping 2.0”, updated optics, new gadgets, map ban, and pooled reinforcements.
Going back to Sam Fisher, players will be able to use his signature weapon, SC-3000K. Also, you will be able to use Argus to collect more information through the walls and various structures.
Rainbow Six Siege Operation Shadow Legacy will bring a free-to-play event
Moreover, with the release of Operation Shadow Legacy, Ubisoft will hold a “free-to-play” event. All players will be able to play Rainbow Six Siege for free between the 27th of August and the 4th of September. As there will be no restrictions on the content or gameplay features, players will be able to experience the game freely without concern.
