Hyper Scape, which Ubisoft has previously announced is now available. In detail, the game is a free-to-play battle royale and has taken its place for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms.
The events in the game transpire in a virtual city named Neo-Arcadia. Therefore, this game’s “shrinking” mechanic is more like a “data loss”. The studio defines this phenomenon as “The Decay”. On the other hand, this virtual world offers interesting dynamics such as “Hacks” and “Fusion”. The narrative around the city is in its first season. In particular, this season contains the mystery created by Prisma Dimensions. Players need to collect Memory Shards to unfold the facts about events and characters.
The first season is live!
The first season of Hyper Scape is also the introduction of the game’s vast arsenal. Respectively, the game will include two high-tech weapons: Dragonfly and Magnet. Furthermore, various hack abilities will be at gamers’ disposal. In total, the game has 11 guns and 11 hacks for players to utilise in multiple game modes. These include Solo and Squad Crown Rush with additional ones that will be available for a limited time.
The studio also offers full streaming integration with Crowncast. Accordingly, this feature will bring a plethora of features on the Twitch platform. Firstly, viewers will be able to join the streamers’ squads with a few clicks. Furthermore, they will be able to vote for in-game events that will affect the gameplay dramatically. For instance, the Season One card “Lethal Melee” will allow players to eliminate each other with one melee hit. Currently, Crowncast has nine event cards like this. Moreover, to celebrate the game’s launch Ubisoft offers unique emotes to unlock with subscriptions, gifted subscriptions, and at least 300-bit cheers.
Finally, the game has a Battle Pass available and costs 950 Bitcrowns, the in-game currency. Players can either receive the Bitcrowns by playing or purchasing packs from Ubisoft directly or their authorised stores.
