The game is available on Steam, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and the Windows 10 Store. 

343 Industries is releasing Halo 2: Anniversary for The Master Chief Collection PC in the upcoming week.


The release of the new edition will be on May 12. That is to say, Insider testing which had started back in April is more or less complete.

The Master Chief’s “iconic journey” includes a total of 6 games. The games in the collection are Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4.

The released bundle will include both Halo 2 and its Anniversary Edition. That way, players will be free to play both as they like. You will have access to 15 different missions as well as 7 remastered multiplayer maps from the Anniversary Edition. In addition to that, the game will also feature 25 multiplayer maps from the original Halo 2 with an updated gameplay experience.

The Master Chief Collection is being delivered to PC one by one. Having started with Halo: Reach, the collection will end with Halo 4 toward in the following months this year. The games are available for download on Steam, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and the Windows 10 Store.

Recently, the developers announced that Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST are about to be ready for their internal aplha testing.
