CD Projekt just made an announcement on Twitter to describe how things are going to be for them. As coronavirus spreads around Europe, game studios are also taking preventative measures. These measures are mainly to slow down the spread of the virus and protect the well-being of the developers. As a part of the process, CD Projekt decided to switch to work from home, but this will not delay Cyberpunk 2077.
“Over the past week, we have been adapting to the situation and gradually rolling out preventative measures across our entire organization,” states the studio. Since they need to focus on the well-being of their employees, preventative measures are the most important thing to mention.

“We’ve also been upgrading equipment & infrastructure and working towards enabling our employees to work remotely, from the safety of their homes.” Therefore, the developers will continue working from home as long as it is a must.
The studio mentions that this should not affect the release of Cyberpunk 2077. The game is still on track to launch in September, despite the coronavirus measures. We will see how that goes in the near future. Above, you can find the official CD Projekt Twitter post.
