Civilization 6 is getting a new season pass which will be delivering six new DLC packs.
Specifically, the game’s developer Firaxis Games is planning to release one DLC pack every other month starting May 21. First in line is the Maya and Gran Columbia Pack. In addition to new civilizations and leaders, the pack includes an Apocalypse game mode, new City-Stats, resource, and natural wonders.
Up next in July, the Ethiopia Pack will feature the Ethiopian civilization, as well as a new leader, districts, and a Secret Societies game mode. The rest of the packs will release bi-monthly until May 21 of 2021. Like the first two, these packs will introduce new civilizations, leaders, game modes and more.
“It’s been four years since we first announced Civilization VI, and the support from fans and players has been overwhelming. (…) After two giant expansions in ‘Rise and Fall’ and ‘Gathering Storm,’ four years’ worth of balance updates and more, Civilization VI has grown into the flagship title for the series.” – Ed Beach, Firaxis Games franchise lead designer
Civilization 6 New Frontier Pass will cost $39.99. It is available for PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
