Today, the highly-anticipated Call of Duty Battle Royale title is going live for all players. Activision announced that the game will be free-to-play for everyone, whether you have Modern Warfare or not. Moreover, per today’s news, Call of Duty Warzone does not require PS Plus on PlayStation to work.
This is actually exciting news for a lot of players. Activision seems to be including the players which usually stick with singleplayer games. Furthermore, allowing non-PS Plus players to access the game allows Activision to reach a bigger player base than other online games does.
Actually, as you all know it, none of the free-to-play titles require PS Plus, but since Warzone is a loose part of Modern Warfare, this was a big question. Moreover, PS Plus members will be rewarded in-game for their membership with additional content.
The additional content will be completely cosmetic, therefore it won’t cause advantages. Furthermore, the content will be only available for PlayStation until October.
