The game’s map has five different sectors. When you travel through different sectors, you will realize some of the things will start to change. While you can observe the terrain changes, you also need to be careful about the zones you will go through. These are important and strategic places which we will mention later.

Call of Duty: Warzone map sectors

The game’s huge map is divided into five different sectors, which you can see from the below image. These sectors can be listed as the following:

  1. Verdansk North
  2. Verdansk West
  3. Verdansk Southwest
  4. Verdansk Central and South
  5. Verdansk East

All of these sectors have so-called “zones” within them, which contain landmarks. Landmarks can be cars, ATM machines, gas stations or something else. These are the places you need to be careful about throughout your game. Most people will not be present on the open farmlands but on these areas.

Moreover, each sector has a different playstyle opportunity caused by the difference in terrains. In total, there are 45 zones and 335 landmarks in Call of Duty Warzone. As an example, we can state that the Verdansk North sector mostly consists of big mountains, so you have to adjust your playstyle.
