After a season of leaks, the Battle Royale Call of Duty game became the worst-kept secret. Today, Activision officially announced the game as a free-to-play battle royale available for all players. Moreover, you will not have to wait for the game to launch, it is going live tomorrow. Call of Duty Warzone is set to release on March 10, 2020.

The fact Activision did not do any marketing with Warzone shows that it is trying to catch attention through a surprise release. We will wait and see to what extent that strategy will be successful, but some players already knew what they were looking at.
The battle will take place on the Verdansk map and will allow 150-player games. The game will also let the players form squads as trios. Furthermore, the game will also feature a new mode called Plunder Mode. In this new mode, players will loot in-game cash throughout the map.
